InshAllah, Ramadan will start the night of Monday, April 12, 2021 and the first day of fasting will be Tuesday, April 13 2021.
Alhumdolillah, this year ICK will be open during the month of Ramadan for all 5 Prayers and Taraweeh with strict COVID Protocols. We are also working very hard to provide many opportunities online and in person to stay connected to Allah, the masjid and each other. Ramadan Calendar
COVID Protocol:
- Ages 14 and up can now attend the Salahs
- Ages 10 to 13 can attend when accompanied by an adult
- Children younger than 10 years of age are not allowed in the masjid this Ramadan
- Masks and prayer rugs are required
- We will pray with social distancing in place
- No socializing or “hanging out” inside or outside the masjid
- Bathrooms are not open for public use. Use of bathroom will be for emergency use only
Taraweeh led by Dr. Anas and Murtaza Shoaib:
We will host 20 Rakah of Taraweeh split into 2 sessions to accommodate everyone, starting night of April 12th 2021. Isha will begin 5 mins after Adhan.
- First session:
- Isha and Sunnah
- 8 Rakah Taraweeh with a short break in the middle
- Shafa’ alWitr & Duaa
- 15 min break with Online Khatera
- People will be asked to leave the masjid so it can be sanitized

- People who choose to pray all 20 Rakah should go in their vehicles and wait for khatera to end before reentering the masjid
- Second session:
- 12 Rakah Taraweeh with a short break in the middle
